What American accent do you have? Your Result: The Midland "You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio. | |

I'm not from the "Midland" area though I do distinctly remember a college dormmate who lived down the hall and around the corner saying that when she heard me talking from my room it sounded like I had a Midwest accent. (That was probably her way of telling me I was too loud, too.)
I also can't resist posting something saying I have a good voice for TV and radio. I always thought it would be cool to be a radio DJ. But I think I would have trouble talking to myself--I think I need a live, physically present audience. Hmmm.... I'll have to work that one out....
So, what's your accent?

Very Very, Midland
I'm a Midland girl with you Sara! :)
I'm, like, totally from the west, for sure!
Hi Sara,
I'm from the south, and everyone reminds me of my accent, even those born here. hehe
But my question is....Are you at IHOP and did you write the song, "Dark, but Lovely?" I've heard it a few times, and some of the words keep ringing in my heart. Where could I get the lyrics from? Thanks. Love your son's memory verese for the day. :-)
Connie,
Thanks for stopping by! I am not the writer of that song. Sorry I couldn't help you out on that! As for IHOP... Until I did a quick Google search I thought you were talking about pancakes! I did see a Misty Edwards on that site, though. Is it possible you are looking for her?
Come back and visit any time!

I am a west girl! I had to laugh about the pin/pen question! Nathan could have answered that for me.
Hi Sara,
Hello from the Midland! I am writing this with my authentic Midland accent, which was just confirmed by your quiz. :-) Things are well here in Ohio, and if you haven't heard, we are expecting baby #3 in about 7 weeks! Gee, that means I went WAAAY too long without talking to you if I'm just getting around to telling you that news. Hello to Brad and the kids. Take care!
Kristi
