My Idol-less Week
It's a sad thing, but I didn't get to watch American Idol this week. I didn't even record it to watch later. Instead I was trying to get my 2-1/2 year old to go to bed. (And yes, I missed the entire two hour episode that way.) I watched the results show last night, though. Even without seeing the performances, I was shocked to see Ace and Lisa in the bottom three.

Ok, Sara, if this happens again, you must call me! I will record it for you. I was a little surprised to see Ace in the bottom 3, but not Melissa and Lisa. As long as Chris is still there, I'm happy! :)
I was also surprised to see Ace in the bottom three, but what I was most surprised about was who wasn't in the bottom three. Melissa forgot the lyrics to her song, I think that is an automatic ticket to the bottom three, but having said that, she still outperformed "chicken little" Kevin Covais. While he is elementary school cute and full of personality, I did not buy him singing "Part-Time Lover". What is he, like 11 years old!!!!! I don't think he has the chops for this competition, and yet he keeps comin' back!
